On quality
“What’s new?” is an interesting and broadening eternal question, but one which, if pursued exclusively, results only in an endless parade of trivia and fashion, the silt of tomorrow. I would like instead, to be concerned with the question “What is best?,” a question which cuts deeply rather than broadly, a question whose answers tend to move the silt downstream.
My philosophy on the past year of my life was to not say "no". If asked to participate in whatever adventures were bestowed on me I would say "yes". It has provided me with the endless opportunity to experience new people - new places - old places with new people. But as this year is coming into the last 8 weeks - I feel a shift. A shift that says you can say what's new for only so long (lived in 5 different places in this past year) when your heart and your mind and your body is saying...well you've had your fun in the "wild west"....you healed in a place so far from anything you know...so what it best?
They say there's snow coming
I sit and stare - waiting
They say you can't behave this way
I sit and think - waiting
They say you need this or that or all of it
I sit and say no - waiting
They say the way to everlasting life is in the offering plate
I sit and my soul cries - waiting
But waiting for what...
The chance to see it all and then decide - what's best.
What? Exhaust what's new "first"?

After some time
It's been some time huh? Since the three of us blogged together. Since grandma died we've all changed. I sometimes think that she's still watching us and would say "hurrah - you're all happy". Either you're doing something you always wanted to or you're finding out exactly who you are and what you're really made of.
I'm proposing the site be called "tres leche" because it's a cake made from 3 cremes... evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream. I think we're distinctly one of any of the 3 cremes at any time.
If you'll join me - I would love it. We all know that in the past I was the blogger and you were the subbloggers. I'd like for it to be a site woven together by our relation and distint by our experiences.
